KINGDOM KIDS PARENT INFORMATION
We are so thankful for the opportunity to take part in your child's faith development. We believe that it is very important to provide a safe and nurturing learning environment. We screen all of our volunteers, and have check-in / check-out and safety systems in place.
Well Child Guidelines
We love having your children with us, but want to keep all our kids (including yours) healthy; so please note that we cannot accept any child who has any of the following conditions:
* fever
* vomiting or diarrhea (even associated with teething or medication)
* any symptoms of scarlet fever, german measles, mumps, chicken pox, cough, strep throat, flu etc. .
* common cold
* sore throat
* croup
*fifth disease
* any unexplained rash
* pink eye or any other infections (the child must be on medication for 24 hours and not exhibiting any symptoms before entering kingdom kids)
* persistent cough
- we also ask that if you have a sick child at home that you keep all members of your family at home to prevent sharing contagious illnesses (your child may be contagious but not demonstrating any symptoms yet).
We appreciate your cooperation in this matter. Again, it is for the safety of every child including YOURS!!

First time visitors:
What to do:
Please arrive 5 minutes early to get your child checked in and ready for fun!
When you first arrive, please go to the Kingdom Kids Welcome Desk (if you park in the back of the church with the playground on your right - you will enter the double set of doors and immediately come to the welcome desk).
You will be asked to fill out a brief registration form and check your kids in as well as pick up any necessary safety tags / badges.
A kingdom guide will be available to show you where to take your child. Please make sure to inform the guide of any allergy concerns or special needs that we should be aware of. Please feel free to contact the Children's Minister with any concerns or questions you might have. We want to minister to your family and meet your family's needs to the best of our abilities.
What to bring:
Please make sure that all bags, cups and any other items from home are labeled with your child's name.
If your child is 2 and under:
Disposable diapers and wipes
Pacifier or similar comfort item.
Complete change of clothes - just in case.
Bottle of milk, formula, juice or water.
For all younger children we provide a nsack. Please tell a volunteer if there are any food or drink allergies or other concerns.
What to know:
All of our classes are determined by age and grade level - we go by Clarke County school standards.
Beginning August 7, 2011 - your child must turn that age or be in that grade level by September 1, 2011.
(For example if you have a child that will be 3 years old by September 1, 2011 your child will be in the 3 year old class).
-- We apologize for any confusion this may cause but we want to ensure that your child is in a class with their age group peers and in a class with age appropriate activities.
